Today we celebrate P&C Day throughout the state. Our very own P&C Committee at Broome PS consists of a number of dedicated and passionate volunteers who work collectively as a team to support our school community. They raise considerable funds and enhance our learning programs by purchasing valuable resources for our students.
In the past six months the P&C have refurbished the library, purchased new iPads, purchased keyboards for our Performing Arts program, purchased 200 mini-white boards and are coordinating new shirts for our students in the School Choir. They have also conducted a sausage sizzle and assisted with the delivery and spreading of sand in our playgrounds. Our P&C have lots more projects planned for the remainder of the year and they are always looking for more parents to join meetings and assist on special occasions.

May 19 is National Walk Safely to School Day. This is a community initiative that aims to raise awareness of the health, road safety, transport and environmental benefits that regular walking (especially to and from school) can provide for the long term well-being of our children. We look forward to seeing our students walking through the gates tomorrow!

Some of our wonderful students will be participating in the 2023 Shorebird Quest. Please head down to support them and enjoy a wonderful evening of music and live theatre.
Please see below for information on School Photo Day. A copy of this letter has been sent home with your child. School photo envelopes will be sent home in the week prior to photo day. If you have any questions, please give the office a call on 9194 7500.
